It was a warm start to our week, and look for the warm weather to continue through the week. Cooler weather arrives by this weekend, however.
High pressure continues to dominate our weather, sending the jet stream northward into British Columbia, and that won't change this week. The light north breeze that's been helping Valley temperatures warm into the 70's (along with high pressure) lately will turn to a light southerly breeze by Tuesday, which cool Valley highs down some... but we should still see Valley highs near 70 for much of the week.
A moderately strong storm will target us this weekend, but will be lacking moisture. So we can expect our temperatures to cool down to near average for this time of year by Saturday, but we'll only have a chance of a light shower in the forecast... the storm is just too dry for anything more than that. The extended forecast beyond this weekend looks like the dry weather will continue into next week.
