It was a warm finish to the week! Look for this to continue through this weekend, and parts of next week look even warmer!
High pressure remains strong over the west coast, and that has sent the jet stream north of us, and kept our skies sunny. Temperatures warmed into the middle 70's in the Valley today, and with very little changing, we'll do that again tomorrow. We may bubble a few showers up in the Siskiyous tomorrow afternoon, but nowhere else.
A weak storm will approach us Sunday, and that should cool us down a couple of degrees, and bring some high clouds overhead. This should also spark a few showers in the Siskiyous.
That weak storm will be mostly gone by Monday, but we'll be a bit cooler behind it.
High pressure returns on Tuesday, and will warm us up quickly. A breezy north wind will help, with 20 to 25 mph gusts. Valley highs will near 80. We'll get to the middle 80's on Wednesday, as the winds diminish.
Moisture will surge into California from the south on Thursday and Friday, and could bring us a few light showers on Friday. This will also cool us back down.
