Another hot day is ahead for your Wednesday Farmcast, but relief from the heat is on the way to the north state. Temperatures are starting out slightly warmer than 24 hours ago, with high 50's to mid 60's across the valley, and afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the low to mid 90's. Skies will start out mostly sunny, but more clouds are expected to fill in throughout the day. Partly cloudy skies are ahead for the mid valley this afternoon, and the northern end of the valley will have partly cloudy skies arrive by tonight. Humidity values will be very dry, and are expected to fall to around 15 percent this afternoon. Winds will be light in the valley today. Your Wednesday morning sunrise is set for 7:16am, and sunset will be at 6:29pm.
There will be a very modest drop in temperatures on Thursday, with much more significant cooling ahead for Friday. High temperatures will top out in the low to mid 80's for the valley on Friday, with party cloudy skies. Even cooler temperatures will be ahead for the weekend, with valley areas topping out in the high 70's to mid 80's. There will be a 10 to 20 percent chance of showers ahead for the valley on Saturday and Sunday. High pressure will build back into the north state on Monday, leading to dry and warmer conditions returning to the region.
