ST. LOUIS (AP) - Officials say gunshots halted a high school football game in St. Louis, but no one was injured.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the shots were fired about 8 p.m., after the second half of the game started.
Some players dropped to the field, and spectators sought cover. Witnesses told the newspaper they could smell gunpowder. No one was injured.
Police say they don't think the shots were meant for anyone at the game.
The game between Gateway STEM and Vashon high schools resumed after a few minutes.
