Sprint is making a huge move to steal away customers from Verizon and AT&T.

The nation's No. 3 wireless carrier is promising to slash the wireless bills of Verizon and AT&T customers in half if they make the switch.

Under the plan Sprint will provide unlimited calling and texting to anywhere in the United States, and match the data allowance, for half the price Verizon and AT&T customers are currently paying.

Sprint will also waive activation fees, and any early termination fees or installment billing obligations for customers who switch, up to $350 per line.

The limited-time promotion begins Friday. Potential customers will need to upload a copy of their current wireless bill to sprint's web site or take it into a store.
