Mostly sunny, and warm conditions are ahead in your Tuesday forecast. Valley temperatures have dipped into the low to mid 40's overnight, while mountain areas are bottoming out in the high 20's to mid 30's. Afternoon high temperatures will fall short of yesterday's, but will continue to be well above average. Valley areas will climb into the low to mid 70's this afternoon, foothills will be in the high 60's to low 70's, and the mountains will climb into the mid 60's. Winds will continue to be mild, and are only projected to be up to around 10mph out of the North.
The dry, and warm conditions are projected to persist through the end of the week, with only slight cooling ahead for the weekend. There will be a chance of showers returning to the Sierra on Saturday night into Sunday, but most of the region will stay dry in your extended forecast. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
