The paparrazi were out in full force in Anderson to get exclusive photos of some young VIP's getting the red carpet treatment.
"We got to come down here in these little mini cars, and they're giving us free popcorn and we got to see 'How to Train Your Dragon 2' and then we're going to be doing some other stuff later like a barbeque, I hear, and raffles, sounds like a lot of fun," Parker Reynolds said.
"Going in the limo. There was like lots of seats and it was fun," Roque Matagulay said.
This is all to honor Matt Farley, who passed away from cancer three years ago when he was just ten years old.
"It came about the first year after our son passed away. It came around to his birthday and we were trying to understand how we were going to get through that day and it just came to us, this is what Matt would do, and so instead of having a party for him, because obviously we couldn't, we decided to have a party in his memory for all the other cancer kids in the area," Gina and Darrell Farley said.
It's the third year that the Farleys have thrown a 'Reverse Birthday Party' for a group of local kids.
"You can see that in them what we saw in our son, just a sweet spirit about them. They don't take life for granted, they don't waste it, they enjoy everything, and they all have hope," they said.
This year's event holds a special significance for the Farleys.
When Matt was told that he wasn't going to survive, his one wish was to watch Captain America.
Valley 11 Cinemas was able to provide a private screening room for the family to enjoy their last movie together.
