Fifty breweries and many local restaurants will be represented at the Soroptimist International Bidwell Rancho 20th annual Brewfest. It takes place Saturday, June 6th, at Manzanita Place.
The event supports causes within the community backed by the club, including Operation Mammogram, the Salvation Army's Women's Rehabilitation Center, Fairview High School, Girl Scouts, Catalyst, the Torres Shelter, the Jesus Center, Human Trafficking prevention and the Santa Project at the Dorothy Johnson Center.
In addition to food and brews, the Brewfest will also feature music from the jeff Pershing Band. It's expected to draw more than 1000 people, and raise more than $40,000 for local charities.
Tickets are $50 is purchased before June 1st, then they go up to $60. They're available through the Home Brew Shop on Nord Avenue in Chico or the Pour House on East Avenue in Chico. For more information visit www.sibidwellrancho.org.
