The Sons of Italy prove they are unstoppable in the kitchen, by hosting the very successful 30th annual Meatball Madness. Cooks worked for a week, preparing a delicious meal of spaghetti and meatballs, which they put on at the Chico Elks Lodge. They entertained guest not only with a rib-sticking delicious Italian homemade meal, but also live music and a car show. President Gary Smith said, "Being here and working 13 hours on your feet, like most of our volunteers do, and mostly in the morning...when you stand in front of 450 people and hand a check to a deserving kid who has high grades and potential for their life, it feels good."

The Sons of Italy provide scholarships to local kids in need.
