San Leandro police said when officers responding to reports of a disturbance at an apartment on Friday, they found 21-year-old Isaiah Bostic covered in blood and his father dead with multiple stab wounds.
Bostic was taken into custody and booked for investigation with murder.
The father, 54-year-old Bishop Teman Bostic Sr., was the pastor of Mt. Olive Apostolic Original Holy Church of God in Menlo Park. The church's website said he also coached a community basketball team in Fremont and volunteered in programs for recovering drug addicts.
