Cloudy skies, and mild conditions are ahead for your Thursday forecast. Temperatures are starting out in the mid 50's for the valley, mid 30's in the Northern Sierra, and low 50's in the Northern Mountains. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid to high 70's for the valley, and in the mid 60's to low 70's across the mountains. Clouds will increase throughout the day, but showers are expected to hold off until tonight.

Much cooler conditions, and wet weather is ahead for Halloween. Temperatures will only climb into the low 60's for the valley, while mountain areas will be in the 40's and 50's. The chance for showers, and thunderstorms will return to the valley tomorrow, and could linger into Saturday afternoon. Mountain areas will have a mix of rain, and snow on the way. Snow levels will start out at around 6,000 feet, but will fall to around 4,000 ft on Saturday morning. Winds will also be picking up on Friday, with gusts up to around 50mph out of the South possible in the mountains, and 40mph in the valley.

Please make sure you're careful on the roads over the next few days. Slick conditions, and limited visibility will arrive due to the change in the weather. There will also be lots of trick or treaters that need to make it home safe. I hope everyone has a great Thursday!
