Mostly sunny, dry, and hotter conditions are ahead for the north state through the weekend. Temperatures are starting out in the mid to high 50's for the valley, and in the mid 30's to mid 40's in the mountains this morning. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid to high 80's for the valley, and mid 70's to mid 80's in the mountains. Humidity values will continue to be low, with many areas falling to around 20 percent this afternoon. Winds will be light for the region today, but will become stronger over the weekend.

Even hotter temperatures are ahead for Saturday, but Sunday will have a very modest cool down. Humidity values will be similar, but winds will pick up on Sunday. Valley areas will have sustained winds to 10mph out of the North, with gusts up to 20mph.

Cooler, and more fall like conditions will return next week. Valley temperatures will only climb into the low to mid 70's on Tuesday, and stay in that range through Thursday. There will also be a chance of showers during that three day period. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday, and a wonderful Weekend!
