BOSTON (AP) - Today, some 30,000 runners will take part in the world's oldest annual marathon.

It will be the second Boston Marathon since two bombs went off near the finish line in 2013, killing three people and wounding 260 others.

Last year, Meb Keflezighi (kehf-LEHZH'-gee) became the first American man to win the race since 1983.

And this year, he's back, wearing the defending champion's bib No. 1. He says, "I'm delighted to be a part of something positive."
