The West Valley Eagles junior pee wee football team won the Nor Cal Federation Super Bowl this past Saturday in Yuba City.

The Eagles defeated River Valley in the championship game 33-20 to run their record to a perfect 13-0.

According to head coach Frank Fales, the Eagles became the only team in Nor Cal Federation history to complete a regular season without giving up a point! The Eagles scored 411 unanswered points to cap off the regular season with a 9-0 mark.

Fales said the Eagles are ranked third out of 730 junior pee wee teams in the state, and 23rd in the nation.

Fales said the season might not be over. The top 25 teams in the country earn a bid into a selection process to determine who will play in the PAC-12 National Championship game, not to be confused with the collegiate conference.

Fales said the Eagles will find out in the near future if they have been chosen to play in the National title game, which would take place January 1st.

We'll make sure to pass along new information as it becomes available.

What a year for the West Valley Eagles junior pee wee football team. And let's hope its not over yet. Congratulations!
