Partly cloudy skies, stronger winds, and a slight potential for showers is in store for the valley in your Friday Farmcast. Most of the active weather will be limited to the mountains this morning, but there will be a very slight chance for light precipitation in the valley. Temperatures are starting out in the high 60's to mid 70's for the valley this morning, and afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the low to mid 90's. Wind will be up to 10mph out of the South this afternoon, with gusts up to around 20mph. Your Friday morning sunrise is set for 6:11am, and sunset will be at 8:13pm.
Mild conditions with at or below average temperatures will be in store for the north state this weekend. Smoke from the several fires burning in the region will continue to limit air quality over the next several days. There will be even cooler temperatures ahead for the start of next week, with the entire valley expected to fall into the 80's by Wednesday. Please make sure you're careful if you are working outside in the poor air quality.
