Sunny skies, very chilly morning temperatures, and slightly warmer afternoon high temperatures are ahead for your Thursday forecast. Temperatures are starting out in the mid to high 30's in the valley, and in the low 20's to mid 30's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the 62 to 68 degree range in the valley, and into the high 40's to low 60's in the mountains. Skies are expected to be sunny to mostly sunny across the region, and winds will be out of the North to 10mph.
Not much change is expected through Saturday. High temperatures will stay within 3 degrees of what's expected for this afternoon, but overnight low temperatures will be slightly warmer. The potential for wet weather will arrive in the region on Saturday night, and will spread across the north state on Sunday. Showers from that system could linger into your Monday forecast before the next wet system arrives in the West Coast on Tuesday. Temperatures will fall into the mid to high 50's for the valley from Sunday through Tuesday, before a very modest warm up is expected on Wednesday. I hope everyone finds a way to stay warm this morning, and has a great Thursday!
