Slightly cooler temperatures, and windy conditions are ahead for the north state in your Wednesday forecast. There will also be a chance of showers heading through the Northern Mountains, and a less likely chance of showers for the Cascades. Winds will continue to be strong, with gusts possibly topping 30mph out of the North in the valley. Temperatures started out much cooler this morning, with 40's in the valley, and mid 20's to low 30's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures will only climb into the high 60's to low 70's in the valley, and into the high 40's to low 60's in the higher elevations.
Sunny skies, and a very modest warming trend will take hold of the region from Thursday through Saturday. Clouds will begin to return to the region on Saturday, with cooler temperatures, and the potential for showers arriving on Easter Sunday. The chance for showers will last through the beginning of next week. I hope everyone enjoys the modest cool down expected for today, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
