Two skydivers in Arizona collided in mid-air and died last night during a group jump. Investigators say their parachutes were open when the collision happened at about 200-300 feet in the air. It happened at Skydive Arizona, a training facility about 60 miles south of Phoenix. Police say one of the skydivers died at the scene and the other was pronounced dead at the hospital. Both were reportedly experienced skydivers and had performed more than a thousand jumps. Investigators are trying to determine what caused the accident. According to their website, Skydive Arizona is the largest drop zone in the world for skydivers of all skill levels.
