Cloudy skies around the North State today, but unfortunately no rain fell from them. Look for the skies to slowly clear over the next couple of days.
Upper level low pressure rotated plenty of subtropical moisture into the North State today, which kept us a bit cooler than other days recently. But it didn't generate much (if any) rain... only an isolated shower here or there. Look for skies to slowly clear Wednesday as the subtropical moisture moves east. Thursday looks partly cloudy, then plenty of sun on Friday, with a bit of a north wind in the Valley, gusting 10 to 20 mph.
High pressure strengthens this weekend, which will send Valley highs into the lower 70's yet again! But it won't last, as a weak storm will clip us on Monday, and bring clouds and cooler temperatures back to us.
