The search continues for the pilot and airplane involved in a crash in Siskiyou County. The pilot's name is now known; 84-year old Alonzo Edward Mullin of Oregon, although that is not confirmed until the plane is found. The crash happened Saturday just before two in the afternoon in the Happy Camp area.
According to the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office, the Cessna airplane was coming from Palm Springs and was heading to Medford, Oregon. Around 1:30 Saturday afternoon, the pilot reported he was having trouble descending through the clouds, when the plane dropped off the radar.
