Friday started off with a few showers around the North State. Most areas in the Valley saw 1/10" of rain, or less. We've dried up through most of the rest of the day, but a secondary band of rain is coming ashore Friday night. This band of rain will stay near the Oregon border through most of Saturday... Trinity & Siskiyou counties will see more light rain tomorrow, and maybe a shower or two in Shasta county, but the rest of the North State will be dry Saturday. That will change Sunday, as the band of rain will be pushed southward. However, this band will be decaying as it moves south, so we won't see too much wet weather from it... It looks like Sunday may be a repeat of today. A little rain, but not much.
The little bit of rain ends Sunday afternoon, and the sun will come out... Monday. Next week looks mostly sunny and occasionally breezy, with north winds at times... but not too strong. With high pressure strengthening again, look for our temperatures to warm through the week.
