Record heat across the Valley today! It won't last long, however... rain will return by this weekend!
High pressure and a light north breeze combined to heat the Valley up into the low 90's today! This was the first time this year we saw 90's, and it looks like the last for a while. We'll cool down some tomorrow, but it will still be sunny. Deep subtropical moisture from the south will surge northward on Friday, bringing cloudy skies to us which will cool us down into the low 70's in the Valley. Friday looks mainly dry, but a disturbance in all this moisture on Saturday will squeeze showers out of it for most of the day on Saturday! A few scattered showers are possible Sunday. That should keep our high temperatures this weekend only in the 60's! Big change from today.
Next week looks mostly cloudy and continued unsettled. No big storm coming, but not much sunshine, either. Valley highs will be near 70.
