Mostly clear skies, and mild conditions are ahead for your Wednesday. Temperatures are starting out in the high 40's to low 50's for the valley, and are projected to climb into the mid to high 70's this afternoon. The Northern Sierra temperatures dipped into the mid 30's to mid 40's, and Northern mountains fell into the high 40's to low 50's overnight. Mountain areas are expected to range from the mid 60's to mid 70's this afternoon.

There will continue to be a chance for showers in the Northern Mountains throughout the day, but the rest of the north state should have mild conditions. Sunny to mostly sunny skies will continue across the valley for your Wednesday. Winds are projected to be light for the entire day as well.

Wet, and windy conditions will return to the region for your Halloween forecast on Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible throughout the valley, while mountain areas will have a mix of rain, and snow. Snow levels will start out at around 6000ft, but could drop to as low as 4000ft by Saturday morning. Some showers could linger into the valley forecast for Saturday as well. Winds will be increasing on Friday, and are projected to top out with gusts to between 40 to 50mph in the mountains. Winds will not be as strong in the valley, but are still expected to gust up to around 35mph.

I hope everyone gets ready for a wet Halloween, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
