Showers Return Sunday

The sun returned Thursday, and so did the warm weather. While the warm weather will stick around for the next couple of days, the sun will not. Showers return on Sunday!

Temperatures rebounded quickly from Wednesday's rain, and we saw Valley highs in the 70's on Thursday. Some high clouds streamed in later in the afternoon, and those will only increase over the next couple of days... A healthy plume of subtropical moisture is targeting us. We shouldn't see our temperatures drop Friday or Saturday, but it will get cloudy.

A ripple in this moisture should arrive Sunday, and that will be good enough to squeeze some showers out of it for us... more numerous the further north you go. That will knock our temperatures down some, but this is still subtropical moisture... So snow levels will be very high yet again.

This wave should move east by Monday, and we'll be back to partly cloudy skies and mild weather to start next week. St. Patrick's Day looks partly cloudy with highs in the 70's in the Valley. Spring starts next Friday... The Vernal Equinox is at 3:45 pm Pacific on March 20th.
