It was yet another warm day around the North State on Monday, but big changes are coming this week. A decent looking storm from the North Pacific is heading in our direction, and will bring us clouds on Tuesday... which will knock our temperatures down at least 10 degrees from Monday. We'll also notice a breezy south wind develop by the afternoon, with gusts to 25 mph. Showers from this storm will arrive late Tuesday night and Wednesday, but there won't be too much... maybe a tenth of an inch or two.
We'll dry out by Thursday, but high pressure isn't going to return anytime soon. A much weaker storm brushes us Friday, with just a chance of a light shower in the northern mountains... The Valley should be dry.
Models are indicating a stronger storm early next week, with some decent rain. It's quite possible today was the last time we'll see 90 in the Valley until next Spring!
