Sheriff's posse to benefit from big antique show

The Annual Antique Show and Sale to benefit the Butte County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse kicks off Friday for a three day run at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico.
The show has been running continuously for more than 30 years. It operates Friday and Saturday, February 14th and 15th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Sunday, February 16th, the hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event features more than 40 vendors, as well as expert jewelry repair. On Sunday visitors can have antiques professionally appraised by John Humphries. The first two items are free, and then there is a $5 per item cost. The $5 admission fee buys a pass for all three days. Parking is Free
There is also a Gun Show and Sale at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds this weekend, but it is a separate event with separate admission.
The Butte County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse is made up of 31 volunteer members. The group provides assistance to the Sheriff’s Department and at community events. The Posse has been in operation for 73 years, new members are always welcome. The Possee helps many other local law enforcement agencies through use of its training facility.
