A “Public Safety” Town Hall meeting will be held at the Cottonwood Community Center on Tuesday, February 25, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a focus on safety concerns in the Cottonwood area, in Shasta County and Tehama County.
Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko and Tehama County Sheriff Dave Hencrat will address safety concerns throughout the Cottonwood area. The onset of AB109 and the resulting spike in crime have resulted in increased community awareness and desire to remain safe. Both Sheriff’s will offer practical advice for businesses and residents alike.
The event will be moderated by Community Center Director Mary O’Keeffe and Shasta County Supervisor Les Baugh will moderate the event. Questions must be submitted in advance so panelists have time to investigate.
Questions should be submitted to Mary at the Community Center or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org .
The community center is located at 20595 Gas Point Road in Cottonwood.
