OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Sheriff's officials say 31 people were arrested and more than 90 ejected during Sunday's game between the San Francisco 49ers and crosstown rival Raiders in Oakland.

Alameda County Sheriff's Sgt. J.D. Nelson said Tuesday authorities also issued eight citations.

There were no reports of any significant violence at the game, unlike in 2011 when two shootings, two assaults and numerous fistfights broke out during a preseason game between the Bay Area teams.

The Raiders said before Sunday's game at Coliseum that there would be more uniformed and undercover police and private security officers patrolling parking lots, tailgate areas and the stadium.

The Raiders won the game, 24-13.
