A man in Shasta County is now behind bars after he allegdly admitted to police he robbed an elderly man after tying him up with zip ties and a phone cord.
The victim told police he was robbed Sunday at his home on the 7100 block of Alward Way in Shingletown.
Christopher Ray was Monday night after deputies spotted him driving the victim's car.
Ray admitted to holding the man at gunpoint with a pellet gun and then tying him up to a chair.
Deputies returned most of the stolen items found at Ray's residence on Grace Resort Road.
He was booked into the Shasta County jail for robbery, kidnapping, vehicle theft and elder abuse.
