Shasta County Burglary Suspect Nabbed with Public's Help

Aug 7, 2013 6:33 PM

The Shasta County Sheriff's Department would like to wish North State residents a job well done in helping them arrest a burglary suspect.

Earlier this morning, the department asked for the public's help in finding this man, a suspect in a residential burglary in the Happy Valley area. A photograph of the suspect was disseminated with media assistance, which generated several investigative leads. Several citizens contacted the Major Crimes Unit after seeing the suspect’s photograph; several residents provided the same name of the man depicted in the picture.

Prior jail booking photographs were used to identify the suspect who is currently incarcerated in the Shasta County Jail on an unrelated criminal matter. The name of the suspect is being withheld pending further investigation.

The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office would to thank the community for their efforts and providing information which lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect in this investigation.

Great Job North State!
