An early morning fire caused significant damage to the Victor Youth Services home in Redding.
The fire was reported shortly after midnight and it took firefighters about 3 hours to get the blaze contained.
According to a press release from the Redding Fire Department, no injuries were reported in the fire, but eight people were inside when the fire broke out.
When firefighters arrived 25 percent of the building was already burned and windows were broken. The first crew on the scene used a master stream device to initially cool the seat of the fire until additional crews could arrive.
Redding fire officials estimate the fire caused $105,000 worth of damage.
The cause is under investigation.
