A consortium of local drug enforcement agents busted another suspected marijuana grow and butane honey oil production operation Tuesday evening, The Shasta County Sheriff's Office announced.

Shasta County Marijuana Task Force in cooperation with Shasta County Interagency Narcotic Taskforce and California Department of Fish and Wildlife Watershed Enforcement Team served search warrants at two locations on the 10000 block of Hufford Ranch Road in Shasta County.

Agents arrested two suspects at the scene, Daniel Stephen Ackerman, 50 years old from Whitmore, CA and Michael Shon McCrae, 59 years old from Whitmore, CA. Agents said they believe these individuals to be responsible for the grow operation.

During the seizure, teams discovered two large-scale indoor marijuana grow operations with approximately 900 plants in production. In addition to the plants, agents seized more than 30 pounds of processed marijuana, 54 pounds of loose marijuana, 10 grams of concentrated marijuana and a sophisticated extraction system.

Along with the drugs, agents discovered equipment for drug sales, two guns and cash money.

The suspects were transported to Shasta County Jail and booked on a number of charges related to the bust.
