A Shasta County man was who alleged stole more than $120,000 with of materials was arrested Sunday evening after a deputy spotted him riding a bicycle on Shasta Dam Boulevard and recognized him from surveillance video he had watched while investigating a burglary.
The suspect, 36-year-old Michael Paul Miceli, of Shasta Lake, allegedly robbed the Knauf fiberglass plant several times over the past two weeks. During questioning investigators spotted a tattoo on Miceli's calf that matched the tattoo of a suspect wanted in two other burglaries at the Sierra Pacific Mill in the City of Shasta Lake and J.W. Woods.
The total loss of all the items stolen from Miceli's alleged burglaries exceeds $120,000.
Miceli was booked into the Shasta County Jail for commercial burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of a methamphetamine pipe.
