Several injured in Highway 32 crash

Several people were injured and Highway 32 was closed near Crown Point Road for more than an hour in the Forest Ranch area after a head-on collision happened just after 12:30 p.m.

According to the California Highway Patrol Highway a Ford F-150 and Toyota Tacoma collided in the westbound lane of Hwy 32, but there is no information available on what caused the crash.

Crews removed the wrecked vehicles and reopened the road way just before 2:15 p.m.

CHP officials say at least one person suffered major injuries, three ambulances were at the scene and all rushed patients to a local hospital.

Witnesses say an adult male was the sole occupant of the Ford F-150 and there were 3 females, an adult and two children in the Tacoma.
