Redding and Shasta County fire crews are battling a series of vegetation fires in the Happy Valley and Palo Cedro areas.
The largest of the three fires, the China Fire, reported around 5:45 p.m. is burning approximately 120 acres in China Gulch, and threatening more than 100 structures. Fire officials say the blaze is 50% contained.
Evacuations are in place for Treat Avenue, Fuzzy Lane, Flower Lane and all roads between Treat Avenue and Flower Lane, as well as all roads west of Happy Valley Road.
The Red Cross has established an evacuation center at Anderson High School.
A second fire in the Happy Valley area, dubbed the Happy Fire is burning 20 acres and officials report zero containment.
Road closures are in place on Happy Valley Road at Canyon Road, Canyon Road at Highway 273 and Olinda Road at Happy Valley Road.
At Win River Casino, tribal housing has been evacuated, but security officials say people are still allowed to come and go from the hotel and casino.
The third fire, the Mallard Fire, is burning 75 acres in Millville and has destroyed one structure. Cal Fire officials say the fire was caused when home Antlers Road went up in flames around 5:45 p.m. The fire has led to the evacuation of four other homes on Antlers Road, which as of 10 p.m. Wednesday are still in effect.
A road closure is in place at Antlers Road and Basspond Road.
