Chic Gordon, found guilty of a felony for her role in a 2012 dog attack case, had a motion for a new trial denied by a Butte County judge Tuesday.

Gordon was found guilty of a felony count of allowing a vicious animal to be at large on May 15, and was supposed to be sentenced yesterday. Instead her attorney filed a motion for a new trial which was denied, so Gordon fired her attorney and filed a motion to receive new representation.

Gordon will be back in court June 20th and the requested motion for a new attorney will be heard. The judge will also reschedule Gordon's sentencing date.

Gordon was ordered to pay $75,000 in restitution.
