WAILUKU, Hawaii (AP) - A private search party in Hawaii is looking for a missing pregnant woman whose torched SUV was found Wednesday.

Carly Scott's mother reported her missing Monday. She told police a family member last saw the 27-year-old redhead Sunday night at her sister's home in Haiku, on the island of Maui.

Scott is five months pregnant.

Maui police say someone in the search party found "possible evidence" Thursday. But police aren't revealing what was found.

Scott's burned SUV was found in the Peahi area, on Maui's north shore.

Her ex-boyfriend, Steven Capobianco, tells Hawaii News Now she picked him up Sunday night and drove him to Keanae so he could fix his truck.

He says police questioned him, but he "absolutely" didn't hurt Scott.

Police haven't made any arrests or named any suspects.
