Temperatures have continued to be above average, but a little more mild this weekend. Sunday's high temperatures climbed into the high 90's to around 101 degrees for the valley, and into the low to mid 90's in most mountain areas. Tonights temperatures are expected to dip into the mid 60's for the valley, and low to mid 50's in the mountains. The potential for showers, and thunderstorms has continued in the higher elevations, and the chance for active weather will persist through the middle of this week.
Temperatures will only climb by about 2 to 4 degrees on Monday, but will top out in the 109 to 114 range in the valley by Wednesday. Temperatures will then trend back down to the high 90's to around 105 degrees for your fourth of July weekend. I hope everyone enjoyed the milder heat over the weekend, and has a great week ahead.
