Thursday was another blistering day of heat in the Valley... with plenty more coming Friday! But cooler weather will return next week.
High pressure remains strong over California, and that won't change tomorrow. But this ridge will weaken over the weekend, which should allow us to begin to cool down. Moisture from the remnants of former Hurricane Linda will spread into the North State this weekend, bringing us partly cloudy skies and a slight chance of a mountain thunderstorm.
Another summer storm will move into the Pacific Northwest early next week, which will cool us down dramatically. Look for Valley highs to drop into the 80's next week, with partly cloudy skies!
So, the hot weather continues for another few days... but much cooler weather will return next week!
