Warm but a bit muggy around the North State today, as clouds thickened up. An incoming storm will bring us scattered showers over the next few days, and cooler temperatures!
Clouds rolled in today, and scattered showers developed in the mountains. A Pacific storm will move into California tomorrow, giving everyone a chance of a shower... and a slight chance of a thunderstorm! Any showers or thunderstorms would be widely scattered here and there, and not widespread, as the heart of the storm is heading more into central and southern California, rather than northern California. This storm will linger in California over the next few days, however, giving us a chance of showers through Friday.
The storm finally moves east by Saturday, and that will dry us up. Clouds will slowly clear up this weekend, but temperatures will be slow to recover.
High pressure does return next week, and that will send Valley highs back into the 80's then.
