Unsettled weather around the North State today, and that should continue through Saturday. Sunny and much warmer weather returns next week!
Scattered showers and thunderstorms rolled through the North State today, and that will continue for the next few days as low pressure in the Pacific slowly marches through California. Moisture is somewhat limited with this storm, so the showers won't be widespread, but more hit-and-miss. Best chance of a thunderstorm will be in the afternoon, especially in the mountains... but a Valley thunderstorm is possible!
Low pressure finally slides east of us by Sunday, just in time for Mother's Day. We'll enjoy beautiful weather for mom, but as high pressure strengthens next week, it's going to get hot. Valley highs may flirt with 90 by next Wednesday!
