Mostly cloudy skies, and scattered showers are ahead for the north state in your Monday forecast. Precipitation totals are expected to be fairly modest, and snow levels will be between 4000 to 4500 feet. There will also be the potential for thunderstorms in the valley this afternoon. Temperatures are starting out in the low to mid 40's in the valley, and in the mid 20's to high 30's in the mountains this morning. Afternoon high temperatures will only climb into the low to mid 60's for the valley, while mountain areas will be in the high 40's to low 60's. Winds will only be up to 10mph, and are expected to head out of the North, and East.
Dry weather, sunny skies, and warmer temperatures return to the region for the rest of the week. Valley locations are projected to return to the mid 60's to low 70's by Thursday, with widespread 70's ahead for this weekend. I hope everyone enjoys the light precipitation ahead in today's forecast, and has a marvelous Monday!
