SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - San Francisco Police are searching for two missing toddlers and enlisting the public's help in locating the children.
KTVU reported that the toddlers' mother left the 18-month-old girl and 2 ½ year-old-boy at a fast-food restaurant on Tuesday with an acquaintance she met two months ago. The mother told police the acquaintance and the children didn't show up at the same fast-food restaurant as planned on Wednesday. The mother searched the surrounding neighborhoods near downtown San Francisco before calling police.
Surveillance video shows the acquaintance with the children.
Police arrested the mother on suspicion of child endangerment and narcotics charges.
