SAN DIEGO (AP) - A San Diego television station says its sportscaster who was shot and wounded outside his home has a good prognosis for recovery.

CBS affiliate KFMB-TV said Wednesday that Kyle Kraska is recovering at a hospital from serious injuries.

Kraska was shot in the leg and stomach Tuesday outside his home in the city's Scripps Ranch area.

Mike Montana was booked into jail early Wednesday. The 54-year-old is scheduled to be arraigned next week on a charge of attempted murder.

Police have yet to disclose a possible motive.
