The Sacramento River Discovery Center held its 14th annual river celebration.
Members of the public were invited to join them for a 5k or 10k run, activities, silent auction, and plant sale.
"It's a time for agencies to showcase what they do, and people to come and learn about them, and so we have people here all day wandering through, doing various little experiments," said Ben Hughes, a member of the Center's Board of Trustees.
The Sacramento River Discovery Center was opened in 1996 in the Mendocino National Forest's Red Bluff Recreation Area.
It is dedicated to educating the public about how a healthy Sacramento Watershed can provide an abundant supply of clean water.
