DALLAS (AP) - Antoine Roussel broke a third-period tie for the second time in three games, and the Dallas Stars beat the San Jose Sharks 5-3 on Saturday.

The game-winners are the only goals this season for Roussel, who also had two assists against San Jose.

John Klingberg's shot from the right point hit Sharks goalie Alex Stalock's pads and Roussel's skate, and the puck trickled across the goal line with 6:23 to play.

Tyler Seguin added a power-play goal into an empty net.

Dallas has won eight of the last nine games, including three in a row at home by a 4-3 score. San Jose has lost five of six.

Patrick Sharp scored the first goal for the Stars, who didn't trail in the game. Vernon Fiddler had a goal and two assists. Jason Demers added a shorthanded goal and an assist.

For San Jose, Joe Pavelski and Joel Ward scored on the power play, and Matt Nieto had a short-handed goal.
