Roller Derby to Benefit Wings of Eagles

Chico's new roller derby team "Viva" has been training more than two years and has skated on the road until now. But Saturday, November 23 the team will skate in it's first hometown match at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds.

It's a benefit for the Wings of Eagles Foundation for seriously ill children.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with the action getting underway at 7 p.m.

There will be a live band, food, a silent auction, and a beer garden.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 8-12 and kids under 6 get in free. So do Vetereans and Active Military if they have an i.d.

Advance Tickets are available at the Maltese Taproom and Coffee's On"in Paradise, and Empire Coffee"in Chico. It costs $2 more if you buy them at the door.
