Rockslide closes part of Highway 70 in Plumas County

Wednesday's storm continues to wreak havoc on North State roads and Caltrans officials say a rockslide that briefly shut down part of Highway 70 in Plumas County.

Caltrans and California Highway Patrol officials say Highway 70 has been reduced to one lane three miles south of Greenville Wye after nearly three tons of material fell onto the road.

Caltrans official say the road was cleared a little after 11 a.m. No injuries were reported.
