A Red Bluff man is facing burglary charges after he was arrested by police Thursday.

Police say that sometime between October 11 and October 15, 39-year-old David Hastings broke into a home in Red Bluff and stole a handful of items from a man’s home.

According to police, a neoighbor who was watching the house spotted a suspicious blue Chevy Suburban near the home and took a few pictures of it.

Police studied the pictures and then located the vehicle Thursday. A subsequent search of the SUV revealed a handful of stolen items.

Hastings was booked into the Tehama County Jail on suspicion of burglary and possession of a controlled substance.
