North State congressman Doug LaMalfa will be in Siskiyou County next week to check on residents affected by last year's Boles Fire.
LaMalfa announced Wednesday that he will be hosting a congressional fire forum at two separate locations next Wednesday. He and his staff will be on hand to hear how residents were impacted by Siskiyou County fires, and discuss forest management reforms to reduce the threat of fires.
"Wildfires had devastating impacts on the North State in 2014," said Rep. LaMalfa. "This Congressional Fire Forum is an important opportunity to bring our community together to discuss last year's fires and how they were managed. I'm looking forward to hearing Siskiyou County residents' thoughts, experiences and suggestions."

Happy Camp Grange Hall
